Upgrades at Chaparral and Western include everything from multiple sets of uniforms and pads to a state-of-the-art weight room and other extras

At the D1A State Swim Meet on Sat. May 24th, 2014, Chaparral men made a big splash!! Each swimmer is a senior and a two year swimmer who trained with the team during season and on their own in the off season.

Last year at tryouts I had two swimmers come out that had very limited if any experience in swimming. Danniel Recinos (senior and 2nd year swimmer) and Luis Carrillo (senior and 2nd year swimmer) came out hard and showed a lot of dedication, finishing the season with respectable times but in no way competitive enough for regional finals or state.
