I just love spring! There just isn’t anything like the beautiful flowers, green grass, and comfortable weather which allow us to be outside. Now that spring is officially here, we need your help! Spring fever is an annual dilemma at our school. Please have critical conversations with your children about attending ALL of their classes, completing assignments, and to “Finish Strong!” Graduation will be held on June 10th at 3:00 in the Orleans Arena.
Thank you again for all of your support and hard work on behalf of our students. Together, we are working miracles.
Class of 2014: Take your senior pictures this summer with Bell Photography
to ensure your picture is in 2014 yearbook!
Register to receive more information regarding Grad Images, the official photographer at the 2013 Graduation Ceremony.
Purchase a copy of the 2013 Graduation Ceremony DVD through the Orleans Arena.
Men's Swimming Medal's at State
At the D1A State Swim Meet on Sat. May 24th, 2014, Chaparral men made a big splash!! Each swimmer is a senior and a two year swimmer who trained with the team during season and on their own in the off season. Unable to join a club, they worked even harder to be at the competitive level. Our short term goal all season was to make it to the state level. Our long term goal was to medal at the state level. In the 200 Free Relay we finished in 6th, place. Danniel Recinos swam in our only individual event which was the 100 Backstroke and he also finished in 6th place. The 400 Free Relay swam by Sergio Contreras, Manny Sanchez, Luis Carrillo and Danniel Recinos finished in 4th place which is a well desired, a well deserved state medal!
I am happy to report that all four of these young men are moving on to the next level of education. Manny will be attending UNR and the three of the other guys will be attending Southwestern Oregon. Where they will be swimming for the schools inagural swim team. Job well done Chaparral swimmers.
